Information We Collect
This site collects very little personal information. There’s no account registration, and we don’t run advertising or analytics trackers. The two places personal data touches this site are the comment form on blog posts and any email you send us directly.
Comments
When you leave a comment, WordPress stores the name, email address, and website you enter, along with your IP address and browser user agent string, to help detect spam. Your name and comment become publicly visible once approved. Your email address is never published.
Cookies
This site uses a small number of cookies. A consent banner asks for your preference before anything beyond strictly necessary cookies is set, in line with GDPR. We don’t use Google Analytics or advertising cookies. Tor Browser also isolates and limits cookies by design, so most Tor Browser visitors will see little to no cookie activity from this site regardless.
Contact and Email
If you email us through the address on the Contact page, we keep that message only as long as needed to answer it or resolve what you wrote about. We don’t add your email address to a mailing list or share it with anyone else.
Third-Party Links
This site links to official outside resources, like the Tor Project and privacy organizations. Once you leave this site, the destination’s own privacy policy applies, not ours.
Data Retention
Comment data stays in the site’s database until you ask us to remove it or we remove it ourselves, for example as spam. Email correspondence is kept only as long as it stays relevant.
Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request a copy of any personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Reach out through the Contact page to make any of these requests.
Children’s Privacy
This site isn’t directed at children, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.
